I am tired of the stupid windows wireless network connectivity utility. I would like anything else as the windows one doesn’t work half the time. My roommate has a netgear utility but it won’t work on my laptop because I don’t have the pci card. I don’t want to buy any adaptors because I already have the wifi built in I just want a program that allows me to find and connect to wireless networks. Thanks.
Answer by Wish Master
if you know what is the brandname of your wireless adapter, simply go to thier website and download wireless client, if you don’t, go to your computer manufacture, serach for drivers of your computer, you will find wireless client for it, if also failed then you have to contact me

I have an activation code to download Windows 7, but have lost or misplaced my disk. Does anyone know where I can go online and download the software without having to pay again?

Give me a break
You don’t simply misplace a brand new disc, less than 3 months old.
Contact Microsoft.

- Some programs on your old computer may not be compatible with a newer operating system.
- Files with Digital Rights Management (DRM) such as music files and programs that require keys or serial numbers with a hardware fingerprint may require reactivation.
- Some programs with unique copy protection may need to be reinstalled or reactivated with their original key or serial number.
- Be sure to deactivate programs with online-managed activation (such as various Adobe products and iTunes) before upgrading your operating system.
- Antivirus and Anti-Spyware programs may not be automatically installed on your new operating system
- Specific hardware drivers will not be moved to your new operating system.
- PCmover is not designed for migrations from newer operating systems to older operating systems. For example, we do not recommend attempting to migrate from a PC running Windows 7 to a PC running Windows XP as doing so may render your system unstable.
- Please note that PCmover Upgrade Assistant serial numbers are unique to PCmover Upgrade Assistant and will not work with other editions of PCmover.

I want to know why it is recommended by windows to get the latest installation files when attempting to install Windows 7. Would it be the same if I don’t get the latest files and install Windows 7 offline? Then once installed, can I use Windows Update to get the latest files?
Answer by LoverOfWine
Windows update fixes what is already installed.
Getting the latest installation may include some of that, but it will also include fixes or addition to the installation software itself. Something that could cause the installation to fail or not work quite right.
It is best to do.

So I have an old computer that definitely can not run Windows 7 or Vista. So I was wondering if there is any way (any good software that does not include spywares/trojans) that can make my Windows XP system looks like Windows vista or windows 7?
I tried downloading both Windows 7 and Vista on the system, but it lags a lot. With windows xp it runs like a dream.

I’m going to download the Windows 7 Professional operating system from Microsoft’s website instead of ordering the disk. I’m curious though as to how large the file is going to be. I’m sure more than a few gigabytes, but does anyone know how large specifically?
