There are some software for example of TrueCrypt that I have tested that can be installed into Windows 7 RC version, but cannot be installed into Windows 7 RTM version.
I need to know what is the difference between these 2 version, in terms of their services and or another other factors that can attribute to such an error in the installation of TrueCrypt in Windows 7 RTM version.
Can anyone help?
Thank you!

RC is the Release Candidate. This is not the final build but not far off and is offered freely to try from Microsoft. This will however expire in march 2010.
RTM is Release to Manufacturing which is effectively the final “gold” build of Windows 7. This copy was given to OEMs to being preinstalling it on New PC’s and is the game version that will hit the shelves for retail on the 22nd October.
The problem is the small partition of 100mb. If you delete it and manually create a partition you then choose for win 7 (all during setup – will only work if you boot from usb key or dvd, not start install from another windows copy) the small partition will not be created and truecrypt will recognize the boot partition.

I am a web and graphics designer who is trying to get my business off the ground. So far, all of my business has been from referrals. I specialize in web services for people with small budgets. What’s the most cost effective way to get new clients who I don’t know? The free networking sites all stink because everyone there is either broke or a jack-of-all-trades.
Anyone who’s been where I am before – how did you get ahead before you had a big advertising budget?

I’ve been a network engineer for 9 years working first hand with hundreds of different clients.
I however, want to start generating clients of my own, but I don’t know the first thing about selling Computer / IT Services.
How do I convey the value of my service to a potential client? How would I go about the pitch? Any tips would be appreciated.

I would like to create a business with the center focus around IT services and/or computer parts/services. I don’t know what would be profitable for a “over the web-only” kind of business. I have computer upgrade/repair and virus removal experience and have taken classes dealing with networking, client/server work, and information security. If anyone could please help point me in the right direction to possible profitable business ventures dealing with those things or other computer technologies I would definitely appreciate that. Thank you.
I do not have much workplace or consulting experience as I am still in college working toward my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. I’m only 1 year away from graduation. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about not being able to beat the big chains as far as pricing and reputation goes.

Starting up a consulting business and we want to be affordable to small companies. i have called around my competition and rates are typical from 100.00 destination charge to 125 an hour for what i would consider very “junior” level work – such as SOHO networking, cabling or PC repair. What rates have you paid and what are you comfortable with?

the organization I work for is now monitoring all network traffic. They say its to scan for inappropriate/offensive material, but it may really be to monitor employee productivity.
Can using an SSH tunnel or subscribing to a monthly http tunnel service make my surfing undetectable, anonymous or unnoticed? There is a lot of down time at the office between projects, and I don’t want writing personal emails, checking facebook, craigslist, yahoo finance articles and even job postings to be noticed by the network monitoring software. I’m a low-bandwidth user…I’m never downloading high-bandwidth videos, youtube, movies, games or music.
Is this a viable solution for low-bandwidth traffic, or will the network monitoring software still notice this?
My other alternative is to surf on my cellphone (and we all know that gets old after 10 minutes).
