ok so my mother brought an epc 7-inch mini laptop from ebay shipped from hong kong, at first the laptop wouldn’t connect to my router or network at all so i tried playing around with the settings a bit but nothing worked. then it started to connect by itself everytime i opened it but only for 5 minutes and then it kept on losing the connection, its really annoying and i don’t want my money to go to waste so please help!
Answer by Defender of Truth
Either the laptop itself is on its way out, or you need to update the driver/firmware for the network adapter on it.

Apple’s Rumored iTV: Is It Time To Dump Your Cable Provider Yet?
Apple is reportedly in talks with Fox, CBS, NBC and The Walt Disney Co. to offer 99-cent TV episode rentals through iTunes. It’s unclear if each network would offer all their content for rental on iTunes or just select series. Episodes would be available for rental within 24 hours after their initial airing and expire after 48 hours, according to Bloomberg.

basically, i have a desktop that is connected directly to the cable thru a router. and i also have a laptop that connects wirelessly on the same network, i have windows xp, on the desktop and windows vista on the laptop, how can i let the laptop use the same printer that the desktop is directly connected to it.
Thanks
Answer by blamay22000
Just install the printer software on the laptop as you did on the desktop. When you are asked if its a network printer, select yes.
Some of you “know it all” answerers crack me up! You CANT send commands to the specific printer model without the driver and software! Stick to fixing sandwiches in the food category!

I have been thinking about joining into myspace and others to help promote a business. Does this work? Is it really worth the time to set up a nice “space” or do the members of these places just view such things as spam?
Any experience with linkedIn?
Any lists of niche social networking sites – especially those focused on business or education?

In most African countries, most of the mobile phone companies do not cover the whole country. For most people, the solution is to carry two or three chips around, but it is inconvenient opening up your phone and changing the chip every time you are out of “coverage area”. Imagine having a phone which automatically switches from one network to another as an when required… and i am not talking about exorbitant “Roaming” facilities.

this was supposed to be a grass-roots organization, with permission to open your own network when it started.. in your own local communities… with local owners, moderators, and oversight.. now.. they’re taking ownerships away.. closing down groups, and removing local interaction and community diversity… and are trying to fit all groups in the whole world into the same mold… and threatening like recycling groups with cease and desist letters and threats of legal action if they don’t turn over their groups , memberships, lists, and websites to them… where did they get the right? Freecycle did not invent giving away things on the internet… how can they get away with these tactics?

I have looked at ACDSee, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Lightroom, Picasa, the list goes on.
I can’t seem to find any that will allow more than one user to manage a common pool of images.
We have approximately 18,000 images stored on a network drive that we need 2-3 people to have access to categorize, search and print the images.
